Update Time!

Hello blog buddies! Long time no blog. I have some important updates.

1. First thank y'all so much for getting my blog to over 400 views that means so much.

2. This is the more important part. So this past weekend I attended Playlist Live Tristate (I'll make a separate blog post on that) which was the best weekend of my life. While there I went to a booth which told me about an online internet school. It was really cool! It has film tips and helps you start a good YouTube channel and TONS of cool courses. Since I went I get a free one month trial so I will be activating my trial in December and I will be spending much time on it so I may not blog much. I will at least try to blog once and maybe again on New Year's Eve or Christmas. However after the school I might get my YouTube Channel up and going well and I will make an announcement about that too.

Thank you guys so much for the support and Happy Thanksgiving! Also happy any holidays I miss while I'm gone. I love y'all!

Favorites From Bethany Mota's Holiday Collection!

Hello hello hello! Recently (Idk the exact date it might be today but anyway) Bethany Mota's Holiday Aeropostale collection came out. I don't usually get too much from Aeropostale, but Beth's collection is always an exception (that sweg rhyming though). Today I'll be showing you some of my favorite things from the collection and why they're amazing. Let's get started!

So this is probably at the top of my list because it's just awesome. I mean it's an ice cream cone snowman. It's adorably amazing. It's currently $12.

This shirt I really love because of what it says. It reminds me of a shirt I have that says "Make Misteaks" (purposely spelled wrong but thats the point). There is a backwards "E" which proves the point. It's also just a cool style shirt. It's also currently $12.

Baby it's cold outside! This shirt is just perfect for winter (besides the short sleeves if you live somewhere cold but you can wear it with a sweater). The words and the pattern on the hat just all add  to a wintery feeling in my opinion. Guess what? $12 for this shirt too.

Reindeer. Just an awesome reindeer. I need no more reasons. This shirt though is currently $24.

As you can probably tell by now, I'm a fan of the t-shirts with pictures and sayings. In this picture it's a bit hard to read but it says "I love you more than all the stars." Super cute and it has multi-purposes. You can wear it cause you like the saying or you can wear it for that The Fault In Our Stars promo ;). ($24 at the moment)

My final favorite of the shirts/dresses section is this dress being worn by Bethany herself. I love holiday dresses and this one is no exception. I love the color, the velvet, the simplicity; it's just amazing. I think a necklace does make it look better just because I don't like clothes too simple; just simple enough. ($32 currently)

THIS HAT THOUGH!!! SOOO ADORABLE!!!!

The socks are some of the greatest parts of the collection. These are fuzzy over the knee heart socks. They look so cool and comfortable. Only $10 at the moment.

Then the other greatest socks. Reinedeeerrrr! These over the knee socks are so cute. These socks or the heart socks are perfect for wearing with your pajamas in the morning on a holiday. These socks are $10.

Here in the room section there is also some pretty cute stuff. I love these pillows they are so adorable and the candy canes are great cause they show how the candy canes overlap. These pillows are $19.50.

"Dear Santa, Define Good." These pillows are also so cute. I like how the milk and cookies look drawn. It makes the pillows look more playful. :) The pillow set is $17.50.

The final two products are the Bethany Mota Fragrance (right) and the scented body shimmer (left). Beth's fragrance, as described by Beth is "some of my fave smells like cotton candy, peaches, bergamot, and vanilla sugar." I'm sure it smells awesome because it sounds sweet! Beth's Fragrance is  $25. The body shimmer smells like her fragrance and is basically roll-on sparkles. Sparkles are great and it doesn't roll-on too much sparkle so it's just some subtle sparkle! This is $12.

The Family Tree

      Ella has a family tree. Ella is 13. Ella is currently married to Olaf (the snowman). They were married in January 2013. Ella plans to divorce Olaf (the snowman) when she marries Chandler Carlton Riggs. Ella had four children; Isabella,Thomas, Rachel, & Tori. Isabella and Thomas are the deceased children of Ella. Thomas was dropped of a balcony by Ella and missed the target couch at 3 months. Isabella was dropped off a porch into a pool by Ella at 6 months. Ella learned that day that babies don't float. Rachel is the only current child of Ella not deceased or disowned. She is the blonde haired blue-eyed daughter of Ella & an unspoken father. She enjoys running, squids, flamingos, "Halloween", potatoes, and much more. Very close to and a lot like Ella, her mother. Cameron is Rachel's husband. They were married when they were 2 years old. They have three adopted children. The adopted twins are Chloe (meeee!!!) and Will. Their newest adoption is Sarah who refuses to accept the fact that she's in the family by constantly saying "I don't know you people." & "I hate you." Tori is the brown-haired, brown-eyed daughter of Ella & an unspoken father. She's been disowned by Ella three times. Nicky and Thomas (or Lil' Nicky as referred to mostly by Ella) are the brown-haired, brown-eyed with glasses sons of Tori. Nicky is currently disowned by Tori. Tori is not married. Ella has a mother named Jolina (Jo-Lo).  Ella also has a sister named Caitlyn (Cate). Cate is awkwardly dating her great-nephew Will. Cate has no children. This is my best friend Ella's family tree (founded and created by her).

"Jellyfish" by Jeffery Dallas Review

      So a few minutes ago I was listening to iTunes Radio. I was on thecomputernerd01 Radio. A song came on called "Jellyfish" came on. I'd never heard it but i thought I'd listen. It made sense to be on thecomputernerd01 radio cause it was about jellyfish. There was a little twist in the song (which made the song funnier) but I'm not saying what it is cause I don't want to spoil the song for you if you haven't heard it. The song overall was hilarious and had a good beat and rhythm the lyrics just make it funny. If you've never heard it here it is. See y'all next time.

Plot Twist

      Plot twists. Sometimes you might think YASSSSSS BEST PLOT TWIST EVER. Other time syou might think WHAT?!?!?!?! WHO'S GENIUS IDEA WAS THAT?? Anti-Bully

      Hello! Today instead of a random blog, today I will be posting a serious blog. I'll be back to my randomness next blog but this is important. Here are my best tips about dealing with bullying.

1. Don't let the bullies get to you. If they say something rude to you just ignore them because their opinion doesn't affect you anyway. Also if you don't react the bullies will most likely get bored and leave you alone. Bullies are haters. They just want to get you angry or see how you would react to them. They also might admire you but they think the only way to get your attention would be bothering you even though thats not true.

2. Don't fight back. Fighting back will just make it worse and even if you think it'll work it won't.

3. Don't put yourself in a situation that allows you to get bullied. By this I mean surround yourself with good friends who won't stand for somebody bullying you. I'm not saying you can't have shy friends. I'm saying you should also have some friends that would stand up for you.

4. If you're getting bullied, there are people who can help but only if you tell someone. If no one knows, no one can help, and the bullying won't stop (unless you start ignoring them). Bullying is something nobody should have to deal with, but if you are dealing with it you shouldn't have to deal with it alone.

5. Smile. If you smile and act strong, people won't bother you because they'll know that what they say won't bother you.

I'm only a 13 year old so I do not know everything about bullying. These are just some tips I thought might help. Remember to talk to somebody if you're getting bullied. ESCAPE-EP by Megan Nicole Review

      Hello everybody! Today I'm reviewing the new EP by my favorite singer Megan Nicole. The 5-song mini album came out October 14th 2014. The five songs are: "Electrified""Fun""Alright""Escape" & "Courageous". "Electrified" was a single released before the album came out. The song has sort of an 80s feel to it. The song is about Megan meeting a guy who makes her feel crazy and happy and like she's falling in love. The second song is called "Fun". This song is a summer jam style song in my opinion. It's about just chilling and having fun. I heard somebody describe it as the pool party song compared to the dance party song "Electrified". The third song is "Alright" is pretty different from the first too. This song is about Megan feeling like she should've expected her guy to lie. Now that she knows he was dumb & she's saying she'll be alright without him because he isn't worth crying about. The fourth song is the song that titled the album "Escape". This song is about Megan telling her self that she's not perfect & she's not gonna be who anybody wants her to; she's just gonna be good enough for herself. The final song "Courageous" is basically about telling people that they are courageous. Get Escape EP by Megan Nicole on iTunes. Bye!

SDK or DIE

      Hello everybody! Happy Friday! Today is October 3rd and don't even think about mentioning Mean Girls -_-. What's really important today is life and birthdays celebrate life. Today is Adam Buongiovanni and Nick Buongiovanni's 22nd birthday. If you are wondering who they are, you should sit in the corner of shame. They are from MANNNTV on YouTube and they're Thursdays on the SettleDownKids (SDK) East Coast YouTube collab channel. I'm going to tell y'all about SDK.
      So on Mondays we have Joey Gatto (main channel JoeyGattoTV). Joey Gatto is the person who started SDK. He is 20 years old and his birthday is January 24th 1994. He lives in New Jersey. He likes cats, beatboxing, Oprah, pancakes, John Mayer, and a lot of other stuff.
      On Tuesdays there's Josh Sobo (short for Sobocinski; main channel Josh Sobo). Josh Sobo is 20 years old and his birthday is March 11th 1994. Some things he likes are taking pictures, answering questions, traveling, New York City, and rapping. 
      Hey guys it's Jonah and this is Wednesday on the Settle Down Kids. Jonah Green (main channel; mutantboyfriend) is the youngest member of SDK. He is 19 years old and his birthday is June 3rd 1995. Jonah (like Joey) is also a huge fan of John Mayer. On January 19th 2013 he realeased his first full length film titled "Insight". It is currently on his main channel. He is one of the two members of SDK who does not live in New Jersey. Jonah lives in Delaware.
      On Twin Thursdays we have Adam Buongiovanni and Nick Buongiovanni (main channel; MANNNTV). The two are 22 years old and their birthday is October 3rd 1994. They live in New Jersey. The two are very interested in Randy Jackson, iCarly, Full House, Bill Nye (the science guy) and many other random celebrities. Along with their best friend Nolan Emme they go to schools to talk about anti-bullying.
      On average Fridays we have Ryan Abe (main channel; RyansAverageLife). Ryan is the oldest member of SDK being 24. His birthday is June 26th 1990. He lives in New Jersey. He likes making videos complaining about many things including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc. He also likes to do challenges and collabs with his friends.
      Last on Saturday there's Joe Santagato (main channel; Joe Santagato). Joe is 22 years old and his birthday is February 25th 1992. Joe did not join SDK until September 14th 2013 unlike the others who joined the week of July 15th-July 19th (when the channel started). Joe (like Jonah) doesn't live in New Jersey. Joe lives in New York. Joe likes to make random videos by himself or with his brother Keith and sometimes he likes to vlog.

Tied To A Door

      I remembered the story I wanted to tell you guys so today I will tell you that story.

      Last year we had club pictures outside because it was a nice spring day. I was wearing a dark blue floral shirt with sweatshirt strings on it. I had pictures for my math team and anti-bullying club pretty close in time. I took my pictures for math team and then stood by the door to wait for the next pictures. I was playing around with the strings and accidentally tied them to the door handle. So now I was standing there, tied to a door and thats when they decided to get ready for the next picture. I tried to mouth to my friend to help me but she didn't see. I knew that if I told the teacher I'd probably get in trouble. I pulled the string and luckily got it untied. Then I walked over to the picture and said "Thanks for the help it's not like I was tied to a door."

Cooking/Baking Tips with Chloe

      Hello friends! I hope everybody's been having a great day/night. Yesterday I made chocolate chip cookies so I thought I should make a cooking related post. Here are 10 cooking/baking tips.

1. Crack eggs into a smaller bowl or measuring cup before putting the eggs in the mixing bowl. That               way if you accidentally get an egg shell in the bowl, it will be easier to remove than in the big bowl. 
2. When making cupcakes or muffins, if you don't have enough batter to fill the tray, fill the extra slots with water. That way your cupcakes or muffins will bake evenly.
3. Use a mini ice cream scoop to scoop cookie couch onto the cookie tray. Make sure to spray the scoop with cooking spray so the dough doesn't stick. 
4. DO NOT CONFUSE BAKING POWDER AND BAKING SODA. If the recipes requires baking powder DON'T use baking soda as a substitute. They are VERY different.
5. Don't use grilling spray as cooking spray. Like baking soda an baking powder they are very different. (Thanks Nikki)
6. Don't burn your food. (Thanks Rachel and Ella)
7. Read all your instructions before you do anything. You don't want start cooking and then realize you don't have an ingredient. (Thanks Heather)
8. Be careful when measuring. Too much or too little of an ingredient can throw off the whole recipe. (Thanks Heather again)
9. Wash your hands before you start.
10. Make sure your parents know your baking kids. If you don't know how to use the oven or stove, ask a parent for help. (Thanks Ella again)

The Baseball Game

      Hello friends! I hope you're doing good.  Today I will be taking a bit of a Ryan Abe approach to things and tell you guys a story about something that's happened in my life. So without further ado this is The Baseball Game.

      In June my grade went on a field trip to a minor league baseball game. I was lucky to be on a field trip bus with 5 friends (yeah I know shocker I have friends).  Honestly the best part of the trip was the bus. We talked and played Truth or Dare and Kill, Kiss, Marry. It was a fun time. We couldn't find our seats at first but we finally found them. Me and my friend went to the shop where they had the creepiest t-shirts ever with demented food and it was really awkward. A person came to our section and threw rubber bracelets and soft baseballs at us. I caught a soft baseball and my friend got a bracelet. Since our buses had to pick up kids from the other schools we left the game early. Back on the bus we talked and resumed our games again. 

      I realize that wasn't much of a story but I forgot the one I was going to tell you guys so I will post a real story at another time. Thank you all so much for reading. Love you guys <3. Talk to you all later.

One Syllable Story Challenge

      Hello friends! Today will be my first real blog! For this blog I will be doing a writing challenge. You might think that a writing challenge would be boring but I think this will be kind of interesting. First I  have to find a topic and then I have to write a short story about the topic. Then I need each word in my story to have 1 syllable. Let's see how this turns out. My topic is first day of work. Here we go. (The story below is completely fiction and made up by me).

      I woke up at eight. I went to my fridge and made some eggs. They were good. Then I put on my shirt and pants for my new job at the tea shop in Town Square. It's my first day at my first job. I walked out the door and walked to the tea shop. When I walked in the shop the boss, Jeb told me to help the girl at the glass. He said she wants a piece of cake. I said to the girl "What kind of cake do you want?" She said "Pink! I want pink cake."  I went to get the cake but I fell on the floor and tea fell on the floor. Jeb told me to get out. I have no job now.

      Hello friends! My name is Chloe and welcome to my blog! I will be updating this blog daily with a whole bunch of different goodies. I will post D.I.Y.s, tutorials, tips, advice, adventures in my life, and whole lot more. You can even leave me comments letting me know what I should post. Todays post I will be talking about my name so you can get to know me. 

      My name is Chloe Elizabeth. Let me start with my first name; Chloe. Chloe means blooming in Greek. I know now it's becoming a popular name but when I was born, the name was not very popular. I love my name but when I was younger it got misspelled; a lot. The most common misspellings of my name were Cloe & Chole. With my name there aren't too many ways to shorten it. Some of my friends call me Chlo or Chlo Chlo but usually I'm just Chloe :). Now on to my middle name; Elizabeth. Elizabeth is also Greek and means Oath of God. Elizabeth is a name from the Bible. I am very religious so I'm happy to have a middle name from the Bible.
